Getting Help
If you are struggling with your mental health, it is important to reach out to professionals who can help. There are lots of options for support out there, although you might find some are more suitable for you, or more easily available. Seeking help is often the first step towards getting and staying well.
In an Emergency
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
· You do not feel you can keep yourself or someone else safe
· Someone’s life is at risk – for example they have seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose
Mental health emergencies are just as important as physical ones—please reach out. You will not be wasting anyone’s time.

For urgent mental health support when a life is not in imminent danger, call 111 and select option 2.
NHS 111 is available 24/7 to connect you to health services when needed
